My Great Uncle Harold and I have a lot of memories together. I used to look forward to Going to my Great Aunt Sylvia and my Great Uncle Harold's apartment for Passover and seeing them every Yom Kipper at Evanston High School for the services. he used to have a big smile on his face when he used to see me.I'll never forget When my Great Uncle Harold presented me a gift from the Brotherhood at my Bar Mitzva and the speech he told me. It was so special. I'm so glad that My Great Uncle Harold and My Great Aunt Syliva were able to part take in my wedding and do the blessing over the wine and the Challie. The best Memory that will stick with me forever and ever is the time my Great Uncle asked me if I would like to go with him to a Chicago White Sox game. I'm so glad I went with him. We had such a good time together. I'm going to miss him so much.
I'm going to miss his hand shakes and the hugs he would give me. He always told me your such a good boy and that he loved me. He ment a whole lot to me. To this day I still have that ticket he gave me and the lapel pin we got that day.

You may have been my Uncle through the marriage of your beloved wife Sylvia, who was the younger sister of my grandfather Fred. It may have nearly 34 years ago, but I will never forget coming to your old apartment on Balmoral with my grandmother Geri. Say hello to my grandparents and Aunt Sylvia.

Harold became my father-in-law when I was just a teenager and, although my marital situation changed, I always felt a part of the family through Becky and Justin. I was so thrilled he was able to make it to Justin's wedding... it made their wedding even more special for all of us, including my boss, who was just thrilled to actually meet the man who sent me on my interview 31 years ago. I've always been thankful that he had faith in me. I'm so glad he was well enough to participate in the baby naming. That will forever be special to all of us. I know how very proud he always was of his grandchildren and great-grandchild. I'm sad he didn't make it for his second great-grandchild, but she will know all about him and I know he'll be watching over all of them. May he rest in peace and enjoy eternity with Sylvia.
Best wishes... my prayers are with all of you.
Love always,
Leslie
