MARJORIE ZAMORA Obituary

Marjorie D. Zamora, nee Dixon, age 79, of Western Springs, is at peace now, a kind and gentle woman of great strength. Beloved wife of Cornelio Zamora, loving mother of Daniel, dear sister of Ruth Wagerer and the late Janet Mayo, fond aunt of Jerry Mayo and Linda Kaiser. Served in the US Peace Corps in Costa Rica 1962-64. Retired in 1994 from teaching Political Science at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills. Visitation 3-9pm Monday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, where funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday. Interment private. Memorials in her memory may be made to Evanston Meeting of Friends. Funeral info 708-352-6500
