Dear Pam,
I am so so sorry for your loss. I truly wish I could have known Gretchen better while we were adults. I remember making ornaments every christmas when we were kids for each other. Gretchen had a lot to offer and I wish I knew her better. I feel so bad for her passing and have been so upset. This is really hard on me knowing that we're the same age and this could have happened to me. I am not ashamed as a man that I can't stop crying. After reading her blog on caring bridge, the similarities between us are astounding. I know we would have been best friends. My heart goes out to you in these tough times. Know that you are a great mother and a class act with the courage and strength you have displayed through these challenging times.
