Eugene Joseph Bara, 87, of Lisle, formerly of Chicago, beloved husband of Mary Louise, nee Schwarte; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday, 9:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Monastery Chapel, 1920 Maple Ave., Lisle, until time of Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL. Dear Aunt Mary Lou,
Odette and I were so sorry to hear of Uncle Gene's passing. We will keep both of you in our thoughts and prayers. He was a good man with a nice sense of humor, and I know you will miss his companionship.
Dear Uncle Gene,
I know you are at peace with God. I will always remember you for your sense of humor, your 'unusual' sculptures in your original Chicago home, and especailly for the ugly, gold Ford LTD you sold me while I was in grad school. I never should have bought that boat-sized car from you due to all the 'problems' it had. However, that car has provided Odette and me with many memories to laugh about now.
