We remember George fondly. He always kept us focused at our OCL board meetings. He was our strategic planner. But we saw him as our gentle guide, mentor and friend.
It is hard to beleive that he has been gone 3 years. We thank God for the time and memories he lets us experience. Time and memories are healers and blessings. May George's memory be Eternal.

Mary Aravosis & Family. We were deeply saddened to hear of George's recent falling asleep in the Lord. We had the pleasure of working and socializing with George for many years at the Hellenic Foundation. He was an inspiration and deeply committed to Orthodox Christian values and progressive actions with the Church. May he rest in peace and may his memory be forever eternal.

I would like to add one more comment to the obit, George was incredibly kind and I will never forget this kindness at our OCL meetings. He and the other founders of the organization were so courageous in the quest for transparency and accountability in our church. He made such an impression on me.
My heartfelt sympathy to Mary, and children. Remember we will all be together again one day, as we are promised!
Memory eternal.
