We were extremely saddened to hear of your sudden loss. Jim, I hope you and your sisters stay strong together. You have always been close and this can only make it better. And maybe there is some comfort knowing that your mom and dad are together again. Your whole family is in our prayers. Every time I came over, your dad knew how to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and happy. That is a trait that your whole family has!! Remember the great times and continue to laugh together!! That's what your dad would want!! We love you all and will miss your dad greatly!!

The Eiermanns moved next door to my parents and I when I was a young girl. Jim was always the fun-loving, smiling, joking neighbor on the other side of the lilac bushes. I always knew that if something came up I could go next door and Jim would help out. Even now that I have moved away, I always looked forward to seeing Jim when I would visit my parents. He was a ray of sunshine that will truly be missed. My love and prayers are with all of you! Keep 'em smiling in Heaven, Jim!

I shall miss my brother deeply. He is the person who has had the longest presence in my life. We had so many good times with birthdays, graduations, holidays and even funerals. Often one of us would make the off-hand irreverent observation that would send us into giggles. It was kind of an adult tickle. He is the last one who would want us to be morose. He would want us to dwell on the happy memories, of which there are so many. Bon voyage, Jim! The end of this trip will be your reward.

Jim was such a warm, wonderful gentleman. I would see him in my store and he would make a point to wave and say Hi. If Jim was in his front yard gabbing and laughing with his neighbors and I drove by, Jim would wave and smile. At times I would see Jim and Peggy walking to town and they would stop to talk to me. I never dreamt that when the ambulance passed by me the other day, that it was Jim. I am so saddened for your family and friends. You all are in my thougths and prayers. Jim, you were a great guy and will be greatly missed.

Although I haven't seen Jim in many years, he became a friend through Jack and the kids in Hazel Crest. I am so sorry, what a loss. Jim was one of my favorite people. My heart is sad today.
