Michael Giovanni Mongello, of Downers Grove, formerly of Cicero, husband of Audrey, nee Stelmaszyk; father of Maria, Michael (Lillie), Mario (Joyce) and Dominic (Ann) Mongello; grandfather of Brandi Kasza, Alex Bowler, Bailey, Cory and Samantha Mongello; brother of the late Pasquale (Nadine) Mongello; uncle of several nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass Friday, Sept. 21, 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 25 E. Richmond St., Westmont, IL 60559. Visitation at church from 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Bride Food Pantry, 7801 S. Coles Ave., Chicago, IL 60649. What a great guy Mike was.. In Grant Works, everyone seemed to touch each other in some way, everyone loved Mike and he was easy to like..He and Audrey were perfect for each other. They had the glow we all dream about. The Mongello family is a very special family.

So sad to see the old lions of Grant Works pass away. I was younger than Mike, but knew him through my best friend, the late Richie Raymond, plus Rich Dinaso, Dickie Fatigati, Turk Klump, Mayna's etc. Again, sorry for your loss.
