Dear Kravets family - We were saddened deeply to hear of the loss of Fern. She was one of the finest people we have known. Mother of our 2 fine students, Howard and Mikey, at Tamarak Country School and 4 campers, Brenda and Lisa, Howard and Mike, at Tamarak Day Camp; warm, caring teacher at Tamarak Country School, and our son Teddy's Kindergarten teacher at Wayne Thomas. You are a wonderful family. We are so sorry for your loss. We have many fond memories of Fern, and know that your memories will sooth your loss as time passes. We will always rmember Fern, and extend our deepest condolences. Best wishes always, Harlan, Margaret, and Teddy Gordon

Dear Kravets family, My deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother, wife, sister and grandmother. She was my internship supervisor for one year at Northwood and I learned so much from her. She had a talent for organzation and un-dying enthusiasm for helping middle schoolers in her role as school counselor. I will miss her as will so many whose lives she touched.

Dear Kravets Family:
I have fond memories of Fern, having taught with her at Bannockburn School; she was truly a "champion" of children and their issues and a good friend with a wonderful "ear for listening" to any concerns one might need to express. Rose Kellum Bannockburn School 1970-94

Dear Kravets family and sister Nancy Margolis,
My sister Naomi and I were sad to learn of Fern's passing. We were very close to Fern's Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Bernie and cousins Ralph and Ron, and used to see Fern at family occasions when we were all kids many years ago. My sister and I remember what wonderful parents the Nelsons were.

Dear Kravets family,
I will always remember how Fern made me feel so welcome when I began teaching in Highwood, in her school district. With all of her students and family she had to look after, she still found time and energy to leave a small gift on my new desk. I am sure the countless students she touched will be truly saddened as I was, to hear of her passing.
