David, I just learned yesterday of Evelyn's passing. Please accept my condolences as well as those of the rest of the Tolar family. To the Byrne and Deering families, we are so sorry to hear of Evelyn's passing. I have wonderful memories of her growing up. She was always so wonderful and kind to our parents. The world has lost a beautiful soul.

Dave, Michael, Sean, David, Pat and Andy, I was deeply saddened when David told me that Evie had passed away. My deepest condolences to you all. Evie's smile and laugh could light up a room. Her giggle was infectious. Her love of family and her community should be shining example to us all on how to be a good human being. She will be missed by so many but know that I'm sure she will be watching over her family just like the angel she was until you all meet again. I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even in death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
You always were an Angel, You never passed judgement on Anyone about Anything..
I admired the Marriage that You & David shared so much. You both were so happily in love and lived each & every day for each other & your children... You will always be so cherished & loved by everyone that ever knew you...

I will miss our similar postings on Facebook. Evelyn understood my deep love of Ireland. I will miss her kind words of friendship and understanding. My son is a Type 1 diabetic. I will miss her postings for juvenile diabetes. I cannot believe she is gone. I was just "talking" with her on FB the day before she passed.
Mr. Byrne, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I feel your loss very keenly but I know you and your loved ones will miss her more. We all will. You are not alone. R.I.P. Evelyn....

After many years after H.S. I had not seen Evelyn until we re-connected on Facebook. We enjoyed sharing posts about our Irish heritage. Evelyn always had a contagious smile. She will be missed. R.I.P. my friend.
