Margaret Benjamin Obituary

Margaret Virginia (Tonar) Benjamin, age 93, was called to Glory on Sept. 30, 2012. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank X. Benjamin, and loving daughter Susan Benjamin Beutler (Dale H.). Margaret is survived by daughters Betty Jean Benjamin Mann (Charles M. deceased), Judith Ann Benjamin Johnson (Wayne), sons William "Bill" Benjamin and Ken Benjamin (Liza), six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Margaret and Bud moved to Western Springs in 1969 and retired to Holiday, FL in 1980. They moved back to the western suburbs in 2005. Margaret was born at home in Morgan Park, Chicago on July 4, 1919.

Margaret was a great lady; intelligent, creative, funny, an open hearted soul much younger than her years. I'm truly grateful to have known her. Just sorry it was for so short a time. Goodbye my friend.
