AL was a very dear, soft-speaking, sincere friend, always ready to help if needed; he is greatly missed; also missed is his yearly well-organized picnic which broughttogether several friends and their families. He was truly good man

I am just finding this. Allan and Glenn were mine and my sister Sandie's cousins.
I used to go out to Aunt Dolly and Uncle Harry's house and stay in the summer.
Allan was my buddy. We had so much fun.
I am so sorry for his family.
God Bless them all.

Al's passing was a shock and brought a wave of saddness and regret over my heart. He was my high school friend, my fraternity brother, my fellow Christian, and just a great guy. Life for many is too short and for Al way too short for such a good man.
May his memory fill the loneliness in Liz's heart so the deep ache will subside over the years.

The loss of Allen is still surreal. We won't feel the complete impact until a family holiday or vacation. He was a solid guy that we could all count on. He was so accomoplished, both at home and in the work world, yet totally humble. He helped so many people in their careers by sponsoring them and helping them to find a job. We will miss you, Allie!

Al and I worked together at MWH on multiple projects in FL. I always enjoyed working with Al, both for his engineering capabilities as well as for his great nature. Al was truly a good man and I'm saddened by his sudden loss. He had sent me a congratulatory email just the night before his passing and I'm sorry I wasn't able to return his kind words directly. Thoughts and prayers with your family.
