Dear Members of the Zellner Family:

On behalf of friends and colleagues of Dan from Northwestern University and the theatre community in Chicago, I am writing to express my deepest sympathies regarding the death of Professor Zellner. Though I have never met Dr. Zellner in person, Dan has shared many colorful stories about his warm personality, his deep commitment to family and his impressive scholarly accomplishments. Professor Zellner’s dedication to excellence in teaching and to participating in ground-breaking research in the field of Economics is legendary. I have no doubt that his invaluable contributions to the study of statistics and econometrics will live on in the minds and careers of generations of students.

I am very sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,
-Kathryn

Professor Zellner was a great academic He was a wonderful and a very generous person.
An African poem says that a person is never dead until the last person that knew him die. Long live to all of us who have had the immense joy and privilege to know Professor Arnold and his lovely wife Agnes.
