I have so many fond memories of Carmen. She was a neighbor of mine while she lived in Pine City. She was my "walking buddy". We would get up early in the morning and go for walks and have some great talks. She loved her family so very much and was so proud of them. She faithfully sent my youngest son a birhtday card for many many years after she moved. He always remembers her as the Grandma who gave him "Bucket" which he still has at the age of 27. I will miss hearing from her at Christmas. I know her family will miss her as she was a very special lady.

I'll always remember my first trip to Chicago to meet Carm. She was full of spice and took no prisoners. When I lost my mom Carm said She would be my mom too and she was. She had a heart of gold and her faith always made us all feel protected. Her love is not gone because it dwells in us all. With love.

I always enjoyed visiting with Carmen in Pine City, and remember our last visit at Westchester just before she moved. She was a wonderful person. After Ernie passed away, she continued to remember my husband and our kids for birthdays and such because my husband was Ernie's Godchild. She was so kind--may she rest in peace!

"Little" Auntie Carm was one of the sweetest women I have ever known. I have such fond memories of her with her pretty dresses when I was a little girl. I will truly miss her and I am glad I was back in Illinois so that I could at least pay my last respects to this wonderful LADY one last time.
Auntie Carm......give my Daddy and Mom a great big hug and kiss for me and tell them I love and miss them so very much.
Now I have one more guardian angel up in heaven.
Love you........Linda

She was a bonus I received when I married her "baby boy". She taught me more than how to make her famous spaghetti gravy. She is my inspiration to be a great grandmother. We truly were friends. We always told each other "I love you" and we always meant it. We will keep you alive in stories and meals.

Our Mom was such a loving and caring
person. Always giving of herself and
never asking anything. She had great
faith, which she gave to us too, so we
know she is happy and at peace in Heaven. We'll never stop loving you,
Mom.
