We are truly blessed to have known "Miss Cindy". Our 4 year old son was in her pre-school class this year. She was the embodiment of what an early childhood educator should be. What a wonderful, caring, and genuine woman. Our condolences to your family, and may God bless all of you. ---The Synek Family.

Please know that you and your family are in the prayers of the Thornton family. Cindy was joined at the hip of one of our children when he was a student at McHenry Middle. She was a beam of sunshine to our family during some very complicated times.

My family has been blessed to be touched by the hands of this beautiful woman. Miss Cindy always had a warm smile and a funny story. Her teaching was more than a job. It was the planting of many seeds of knowledge in these little minds she so loved. She encompassed the children and their families. She loved them all, and my daughter was one of them. May the family find comfort in the fact that she touched so many lives, and is now being touched by the greatest hands of all.
