Cynthia J. Paul, 48, of McHenry. Beloved wife of Steven Paul; loving mother of David Gonzales of Chicago and Amanda Paul of McHenry; cherished daughter of the late Fred and Eleanore (Schlorf) Haack and daughter-in-law of Ilse Collier; dear niece of Amanda Stevens of Mitchell, SD and the late Louis and Wilbur Schlorf; fond goddaughter of Caroline (Morris) Huber of Mitchell, SD. She was loved and will be missed by many extended family members and friends. Visitation 1 p.m. until funeral service at 5 p.m. on Saturday April 4, 2009 at the Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry, IL. Private Interment. Memorials to the family. Hello All,
Your thoughts and prayers have indeed helped, Cindy, a real Angel is maintaining all our strengths.
We must be strong, I read that "fear of the future" must not take hold.
A tradgedy occured, Amanda will continue on with mom's heart and soul embededed with in.

Rebecca and I are so sorry to here about Cindy. We wanted your family to know that you have been in our thoughts and prayers. You guys made it out here to Denver just after we moved here and left lots of fun memories. We talk of that visit often, and smile:-) She will be missed.

We are truly blessed to have known "Miss Cindy". Our 4 year old son was in her pre-school class this year. She was the embodiment of what an early childhood educator should be. Cindy was truly an angel on Earth. I knew her as Amanda's incredibly kind, loving, accepting, and supportive mom. I pray for her family - I can't even imagine the heartache you must be feeling. Cindy will be greatly missed and always remembered in the warmest, most loving way.

My family has been blessed to be touched by the hands of this beautiful woman. Miss Cindy always had a warm smile and a funny story. Her teaching was more than a job. It was the planting of many seeds of knowledge in these little minds she so loved. She encompassed the children and their families. She loved them all, and my daughter was one of them. May the family find comfort in the fact that she touched so many lives, and is now being touched by the greatest hands of all.
