DAVID BIRKHOLZ Obituary
David H. Birkholz, 72, was called by God on Dec. 27, 2010, after a brave fight with lung cancer. Beloved husband of Evelyn; loving father of Kevin (Elizabeth) and Eric (Tiffany); proud grandfather of Jennifer, Lauren, Michelle, and Lily; dear brother of Glenn (Louise) and the late Carol (Bernard) Nels, fond uncle of Keith, Brian, Nancy, Linda, Matthew and Joseph. Visitation Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service, 11 a.m. at the Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton St., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lutheran Home or Bethel Lutheran Church, 3839 W. Frontage Rd., Palatine, IL 60067. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

We played on the same softball team (The Dancing Bears) in the Harris Bank League. We enjoyed golfing together at the annual bank golf outing.
