Delores Margaret Fischer, 87 of Aurora died peacefully in her sleep on February 21, 2015. She was born January 17, 1928 in Aurora, the daughter of Hugh and Frances (Agar) McManus. Delores (also known as "Dee" by her family and friends) was a homemaker until she returned to work and became the office manager for the law firm of Vanderwater, Gooding & Schroeder in Aurora. She is survived by her daughters Jane (Daniel) Price and Julie (Kenneth) Bromann, both of Aurora, grandsons Aaron (Jen) of Chicago and Jonathan (fiancé Liz George) of Aurora. She is also survived by her twin brother Donald (Margaret) McManus of Batavia, sister-in-law Florence Johnson of Oswego, several step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dee was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 year, August (Art) in 2007, her brother Ralph, her sister Monica and her brother-in law Albert Johnson. Visitation will be held on February 28, 2015 at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 620 Fifth Street, Aurora, 9:30 am until the service hour of 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements by Dieterle Memorial Home.
