The true measure of a well-lived life is not in how much money or what possessions they have accumulated, but the lives they touched and the sorrow left behind.

Big Doug's life indeed was a life well-lived.

May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew and loved him.

In Sympathy,
Hess & Fitzgerald Family

Doug was always kind when seen in the halls of Hinsdale High. Respected and a good athlete but he never thought himself to be better than others.

My memories of Big Doug...warm, kind, family man. A man of faith. How fortunate his family is to have had such a example of what a husband and father should be. We all should be so blessed. I am praying that all of your wonderful memories will comfort you at this time. Know that many people are sharing in your sorrow.

To Liz and all of the dear Fuller family,
When I think of Doug, I think of his quiet friendliness. There was never a time when I saw him, when he didn't greet me with a smile, ask about how things were going in my life how my family was. Always concerned about others. A strong, quiet, loving, caring, and giving man who will be missed and remembered fondly by many. With love and prayers for you all, Debby Heidler and family
