Dear Sugden your life gave life to our daughter Wendie. We still have your pictures everywhere in Wendies room She looks and smiles. She somehow accepts she won't see you , but somehow feels you are there. We can never forget how you took a little girll who never was able to express her feelings or wants and make her a thinking, feeling, expressing in sign, lanuage. She especially learned how to say NOFran she still lives at Misericordia adjusted and well thanks to your teachings. Yes she still lives with Karen another one of your girls.

Dear Fran, if you can read this, I wish I could sign for you. You gave emotional life to our daughter. You never let go. She graduated, you retired. You took up the cause to help Misericordia Homes learn and appreciate sign. When there was a problem you were always there to advise. Wendie will see you someday in heaven. She will call you "Sugden" and you will help everyone on the cloud to sign to her. We will always love you more than our words can say.

Dear Fran's Family,
We extend our thoughts and prayers for all of you.
We first met Fran as a teacher at Park school and are forever grateful for the gift she was to our daughter, Karen and to all
of the students who were blessed to learn and grow under her
kindness, and competence.Years past, yet even in retirement
she continued to advocate for "her girls" as she volunteered & taught sign language at Misericordia Home.
She was a precious friend, we were blessed to share life with her.
The Flohra Family and on behave of the students whose lives
were touched for good by her life and work.

Dear family of Fran...My family is forever grateful to have been blessed by knowing and loving Fran...she was dear to us. Fran taught my sister Karen so much @ Park School - opening her world, heart and mind to so many growth opportunities. She maintained a relationship with Karen and our whole family through the years. We love you Fran - always will. Karen loves you too. Thank you for loving my sister the way you did. xo, Jayné

So sorry about your loss.
Oh, I do remember her being a wonderful and caring teacher at Lincolnwood School in Evanston, back in the early 60's- she was one of the two teachers for the hearing impaired-I didn't have her cuz I was in the older group but no doubt she was kind and caring about her students. No doubt about her being well loved by me and her students.
