To the Goggin family,
It was my privilege to know your mother from the Scouting Den Mother days at Humphrey & Adams,to the South Shore Club, Geneva Lake and Augusta & Ashland. It can truly said, she had a heart as open as the sky. Her good deeds will live forever to all those who knew her.
My condolences to the family, and I'll remember her in my prayers. Due to an illness, I was unable to attend her Mass.

To the entire Goggin Family I send my sincere condolences at the loss of Helen. I remember her from when I was a little girl iving on Lombard Ave and the family lived just down the street. I was in Jack's class at St Catherines. As time went on I would run into Helen and she always had that warm smile that could just make your day. Such a lovely lady and what a wonderful family she raised. She will be missed by all who knew her. I live in Florida now or would be there in person but know that you are all in my prayers.

To Helen's beloved family...
I was saddened to learn of dear Helen's passing. Please accept my most sincere condolences.
As you know, Helen was an affiliate member of the Order of Saint Lazarus for many years. When I attended my first meeting, which was held in Chicago in 1994, she welcomed me as a member of the family. Each time we met thereafter, she greeted me with a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek.
She was such a gracious lady, and I always marveled at the special way that she had of interacting with her husband and family. Her warmth,grace and spiritual devotion will always be remembered.
May God's blessings comfort you during this difficult period.

Dear Goggin Family--
On behalf of the entire Gawne Family, please accept our deepest sympathy on the death of your Mother and Grandmother, Helen.
Our Dad, Bernard ("Duke") Gawne, was one year behind Helen at St. Catherine of Siena School.
Beginning with our parents, our families have had a lifelong friendship that has lasted three generations, with Christine a classmate of Michael, Judy a classmate of Terry (both at St. Catherine's) and Matt and myself classmates of Dan at Oak Park River Forest High School and the University of Illinois (where Dan and Matt were also roommates). We have many happy memories from that time when your parents would come down for Mom's and Dads' Day weekends in Champaign. And we are thinking of Dan this week on his birthday.
Our family is spread out geographically now, and we regret that we will not be able to be with you this week.
We will always remember your Mother as a warm, loving and effervescent figure, full of so much life and laughter. With your Mother, one would feel as though they were simply picking up where they left off with their last conversation with her.
We know there must be one very happy reunion in heaven this week.

Love and God Bless all The Goggins. Wasn't your Dear Mom one of those people that would be with us forever? She truly will be in our hearts!!! I remember her when I was little walking down Washington Blvd. with three or four of you guys on her way to morning mass!!! Amazing lady. Just know she's enjoying her new home in heaven!!!

Dearest Goggin Family,

Mrs. Goggin will be remembered by me for her exceptional talent to make everyone in her midst feel special and welcomed. Helen always greeted you with a beautiful smile, and wanted to know all about what was going on in your life.
Her love of life, especially her husband and kids, was evident in all her stories and updates.
Helen is an example to us all, that no matter what trouble is looming, be in the moment and give positive, supportive energy to the person you are with.
