 Henry W. Sledz, Sr., 92, of Clarendon Hills, formerly Gurnee, died Jan. 15, 2013, at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital. Husband of the late Maryann (nee Matura); father of Cathy Flood, Henry (Elaine) W. Sledz, Jr., and Tom Sledz; grandfather of Rachel (Bryan Heaton) Flood, Chris Sledz (fiancé Mila Petkovic), Jeff Sledz (fiancé Kelly Ditmars), and Brian (Mckenna) Flood; great-grandfather of Grace Flood and Vala Heaton; and brother of Helen Kuzniar. Served in the U.S. Army Air Corps 1941-1945. Employed by the Wm. Wrigley Co. for more than 40 years. Avid golfer, nature-lover, and sports fan. Private memorial.
