Obituary Condolences

Howard Abraham, age 72, of Chicago, a well-known real estate developer, avid skier and golfer and active supporter of many charitable causes, died after a long and debilitating illness. He was a star player on Marshall High School's late 40's championship Basketball Team. The beloved brother of Henry (Susan), Carol (the late George) von Schrader, Larry (Robin) and the late Marshall; brother-in-law of Cappy; devoted uncle of John von Schrader, Jennifer (Ken) Beer, Brandon (Laura), Dina (Stephen) Isaacs, Hillary, Ian, Sydney Ilana and Tiffany; treasured great-uncle of Jacob Irving, Michael and Gillian Beer, Adam, Jordan and Marissa Isaacs, Ryan, Jack and Jessica Abraham; devoted son of the late Ida and Irving Abraham; special friend to Anita Golab and Rena Welch; also survived by many loving cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral services Monday 11 a.m. at The Weinstein Family Services Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd. (1 block No. of Old Orchard). Interment Westlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Marshall Abraham Fund for Research in Neuro-Oncology, c/o Evanston-Northwestern Healthcare, 1603 Orrington, Suite 750, Evanston, IL 60201.
