I worked with Jason as a mfg. rep for a number of years and traveled many miles with him. Just found out today he passed away. Always admired his intelligence and genuine care of his fellow man. Always used him as a marker for others since he was such a special person and I was privileged to have known him. My thoughts are with you.

We pray you are comforted by the caring people who love both you and Jason. You are in our prayers. We feel blessed to have known Jason and are constantly uplifted by his faith and determination. You, Kirsten, were an amazing support system for him. Your devotion to him and your girls was inspiring. Chuck read his book and drew great strength from it. We have given it as a gift. We pray God places peace in your heart and that the memories and joys of Jason will be your strength in getting through this difficult time.

Nancy and I were shocked and saddened by this news. Jason was the whole package -- brains, sweetness, humor, and lots more positive nouns I could add. You can see them pouring from that photo. I was Jason's colleague at his last law firm job before he joined the business, and working with him was an unalloyed pleasure. Nancy's and my deepest sympathies to all of his loved ones and the many he touched.

My thoughts & prayers are with the entire Surber Family. I got to know Jason during our years at DePauw, and it is so hard to know we will no longer have another chance to see his smiling face, hear his distinct voice or feel his positive energy as he enters a room. He was such a beautiful soul. Thank you for touching our lives, Jason. We will forever miss you.
