Jeanne B. Adams (nee Beatty), age 90, a resident of Monarch Landing and a Naperville resident since 1961 passed away, January 21, 2016 at the Springs of Monarch Landing. She was born August 28, 1925 in Cleveland, OH. Mrs. Adams held a Masters degree in education and was instrumental in setting up the Bolingbrook Special Education Program. She was an early member of Knox Presbyterian Church, a member of P.E.O and many committees' at Monarch Landing. She, along with her husband Max, spent several years living on a sailboat spending time at almost all the islands from St. Thomas to St. Maarten to Trinidad (one of her favorites). She took great interest in the local cultures and was repaid many times by the adventures that resulted. Her great love of travel took them to all the continents and over 120 countries including a special visit to Ireland, the cherished land of her ancestors. She is survived by her husband Max, sons Ross (Debbie) and Scott (Randee) Adams, grandchildren, Tori Fareno (Josh) Greenfield, Kelly and Michael Adams; step grandson Ryan Fabrizius and great-grandchildren Liam Parker and Ellie Greenfield. She was preceded in death by her daughter Victoria Lee Fareno, a sister Evelyn Beatty and her parents Newel and Edna Beatty. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016, from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at 2:30 P.M. at Knox Presbyterian Church, 1105 Catalpa Lane, Naperville. Interment private. I'm so sorry to hear about your family member, Ms. Adams that past. Jesus gives us a hope that one day we can see our loved ones that has falling asleep in death restored to life under God's Kingdom [ John 11: 25]. I hope that this bring your family some comfort.
