Passing of My First Cousin, Joseph E. Blitstein
There was no finer person than Joseph E. Blitstein. He was devoted to his wonderful parents, dear wife, Muriel, immediate family, aunts/uncles, cousins and friends. I was Joe's younger first cousin by 22 years. He was a constant source of love, pride and concern to my parents, my brother and me. When the chips were down, you could always count on Joe. His love for my mother, his Aunt Goldia, was a love affair for the ages. Joe would do anything for her and did. When I informed him in early April 2013 that she had passed, he simply shook his head and then looked down. May his memory be for a blessing now and always. He should never be forgotten!
