Gary, I just heard about Joe's passing today. I am so sorry for your loss. Joe was an exceptional man and I always thought of him as a part of my family. He was always there for me and especially for my dad. I do not know if my dad is aware that Joe is gone. Dad is 93 now and is a little confused. I just saw him last week and asked how Joe was doing. Dad was worried that Joe was upset with him for some reason and explained that Joe wasn't returning his calls. He did say Joe wasn't driving anymore because of his feet. I was at Mr. Stephen's wake today and learned that Joe had passed earlier in the year. I know Joe's friendship meant very much to my dad and he cared for him very much. Angelica and I also cared deeply for Joe. I regret not having been at the services but will keep him in my prayers. I know he is with the Lord now.

On behalf of everybody at the Garfield Ridge Satellite Senior Center, I would like to express our condolences on the loss of Joe. He was a regular pinochle player at the center. He loved to hug the ladies and dance with them as long as they were wearing skirts. He participated in all of our parties. Joe will be missed be everyone.
