Obituary Condolences

Joseph Frank Dinelli, 82, of Highland Park, passed away June 11, 2013. Beloved husband of Marilyn for 61 years; loving father of Jodie L. Dinelli (Mike O'Connell), Jamie E. (Mike) Reynolds, F. Daniel (Laurie) and Joseph F., Jr. (Laura); cherished grandfather of Carrie Nicole, Jessie Lakota, Nicole Marie, Danica Elaine and Sophia Marianna. Joseph was a man of few words, unless he had something to say. His strong work ethic started at Northmoor Country Club in Highland Park, IL where he learned the art of greenkeeping by helping his father, Frank, on the golf course. After studying agronomy at Purdue University, marrying the love of his life and moving to Glenview, IL, Joseph worked for 35 years as Golf Course Superintendent at North Shore Country Club in Glenview. His hobby was fishing on his beloved Catfish Lake in Eagle River, WI. No one could catch Walleye and host a fish fry like Joseph! The passion in his life was his family. Gramps, we love you and miss you. Services and interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Environmental Institute for Golf, 1421 Research Park Dr., Lawrence, KS 66049-3859 (www.eifg.org).
