Kenneth A. Duffield, Wheaton, 74, born April 24, 1941 in Chicago, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend died peacefully in his home after a long battle with COPD. He was preceded in death by his parents, Graham Duffield, Dorothy Weick, his first wife, Arlene Kirk and his sister Dorothy O'Neil. He is survived by his beloved Wife of 27 years, Brigid Duffield, five children - Daniel (fiancé Eileen) MI, Bob (Amy) AZ, Patrick (Kim) AZ , Kenny (Maranthony) WI and Patricia, IL, brothers; Graham (Connie), NV, Doug (fiancé Sharon) VA, Grandchildren; Kathleen, Alexis, Lonnie, Robbie, Stephen and Great Granddaughter Emma, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015 at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, Glen Ellyn. A Memorial Celebration of family and friends will be held at the Village Links following the Mass from 11:30 - 1:30. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Ken Duffield, to the AA General Service Office, 75 Riverside Drive at West 120th St. - 11th Floor, New York, NY 1011 or the Ed Posh Scholarship Fund, Inc. c/o Village Links 485 Winchell Way, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137.

The world is a better place because of Ken...his absence will definitely leave a void. We are fortunate & blessed to have known him & thankful that he touched our lives.
