Kleomenis Adamopoulos, 93, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Chicago and Greece, professional photographer and studio owner in Greece and Chicago, inventor of the webb swimming glove, he was also a very good amateur boxer in Greece, beloved husband of Filothei and the late Gesthimani; loving father of George (Faye) Adams and the late Ted Adamopoulos; dear grandfather of Alexander and Christina Adams; fond brother of Vasso Valogiannis and Athanasia Nikolakopoulos of Athens, Greece. Resting at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home (Chris J. Balodimas Director), 17W201 Roosevelt Road (just west of Rt. 83), Oakbrook Terrace, on Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. Everyone is asked to meet on Thursday at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 2501 S. Wolf Rd., Westchester, for 10 a.m. Service. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Greek-American Nursing Home, 5758 California Ave., Chgo, IL 60659 appreciated.
