Laura E. Jakubowski, 67, of Aurora, IL passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born on September 7, 1947 in Chicago Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Mary (Crist) Reeves. Laura was united in marriage on September 2, 1967 to John A. Jakubowski at St. Celestine in Elmwood Park, IL. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John A.; one son, John Paul (Kristen) Jakubowski; three daughters, Kathleen (Allan) Schmidt, Julie (Joel) Howard, and Maureen (Samuel) Franzmann; one brother, Jimmy McGill. Laura is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Thomas McGill; and three sisters, Virginia Crowley, Marion Dominicali, and Margaret Ziino. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at Moss Family Funeral Homes, 209 S. Batavia Avenue, Batavia, IL. Funeral services will begin with prayers from the funeral home at 9:45 AM Friday, July 31, 2015, before proceeding to Annunciation Catholic Church, 1820 Church Road, Aurora, IL to celebrate Mass at 10:30 AM.
