Leon P. Gabriel, 91, formerly of LaGrange, IL, an inspiring husband, father, grandfather and uncle was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012. Leon was the owner of Gabriel Heating/Airconditioning and Construction. Leon served in the Naval Air Force in World War II. He lived a full and glorious life and will be missed by his many friends from all over the world. He was the beloved husband of Dolores, nee Jedrycki, of 61 years; loving and supportive father to Donna and Gary (Lisa) Gabriel; cherished grandfather of Jordan and Lydia Gabriel; fond brother of Lillian Savaglio; and uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Angeline; and three siblings, Helen Syczygiel-Hopkiewicz, Edward Gabriel and Rose Czochara. Visitation Sunday, 2 to 7 p.m. at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton (1 blk. E. of Naperville Rd.)
