Lidio Mora Obituary

Lidio Guadalupe Mora born on August 3, 1929 in Zacatecas, Mexico, passed away on Thursday, August 27 at his home after a long illness. Visitation from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 29 at Griesel Jimenez Stodden Funeral Home. Mass at St. Michael the Archangel in South Chicago at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 30. Loving husband of 60 years to Alice (Moreno). Dear father to John, Lydia (Groenewegen), Michael, Mark and Deborah (Evans). Beloved grandfather to Christopher, Elise, Annette, Michael, Ellorey, Nicolas, Emily, Gabriella and Helena. Preceded in death by his parents Maria Isabel Vidales and Refugio Mora and sister Carmen (Alcala). Uncle, cousin and nephew to many. Besides children and grandchildren, he is survived by siblings Dionicio, Bertha (Perez), Maria (Garza), Joe and Manuel Vidales. Longtime resident of South Chicago, parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel and U.S. Steel employee for 30 years.
