Lula Mae Alexander made her transition on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Methodist Hospital Gary, IN. She was born on January 4, 1928 in New Albany, MS, to the parents of John and Erion Turner. Mother Alexander confessed hope in Christ and always taught godly principles to her children. She leaves to cherish her memory children; Dwaine (Sonya) Lafayette, IN; Keith (Marilyn) Gary, IN; Alice (Robert) Freeman Jr., Alicia (Richard) Abram of Gary, IN; Dorothy (John) Trice Jr., Hammond, IN, Erion (Tony) Skinner Sr., Albq., NM and Camilla (the late Marc) Cannon, Atlanta, GA; daughter in law Jeanette Alexander, Jackson, TN; sisters: Cora Johnson, Valpo., IN, Laura Turner and Margaret (Dave) Harmon of Gary, IN. Services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Smith and Bizzell Funeral Home, 4209 Grant St., Gary, IN. Wake will be held at 10:00 AM followed by Service at 11:00 AM.
