In doing the MHS Class of 1966 search for Classmates, I just learned that Mark passed on to his heavenly reward last September! I wondered why he wasn't returning my inquiries about the novel he had told me he was writing.
I am so very sorry for the loss to your family. Mark was so young; or so many of us Boomers like to think that of ourselves. Please accept my sincere condolence.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mark in 2009 at the Chicago Students for Liberty conference. Since that time we have worked on many Libertarian projects together. Mark was a rarity in the Libertarian Party, as he was involved in many different projects and helped support several of our local chapters.
What I remember most about Mark, though, was his quick and clever wit, which was readily apparent; his ever-present positive attitude and smile, which were both contagious; and his vast knowledge on a number of different subjects.
The world will truly be a lesser place without him.

I am so sorry for your Loss. Alex is a good friend of mine and the few memories that I was fortunate to have with Mark well never be forgotten. He was a good man of conviction and from being a friend of Alex it shows Mark has raised an amazing son.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4 :14 can bring you some comfort. It is so reassuring knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death

So sorry for your lost. My your family allow you to talk when the need arises and be quiet when that need arises as well. Our Lord and Savior Jesus knew how to do that perfectly as stated in 2 Chronicles 6:29 where it states " Each one has his own pain and his own plaque".
From someone who has lost as well.

Many Many prayers of comfort and memories to your family. Mark was a light and a joy to know. A true shock that he is gone. He was always willing to help out whenever he could and always put a smile on my face with his kindness and humor.
God bless you all...the world will for sure be a poorer place, as will St. Mark's for losing someone like him.

This breaks my heart. People of Mark's combined intellect, genuineness and warmth don't come along all that often. He is gone too soon, and I will miss him. As his obituary rightly states, "The world is a poorer place without him."
