Michael was my grandpa. I was only 7 years old when he died. And before that be was sick and in and our of hospitals and rehabs for 5 years, so I never really got to spend much of my lifetime with him. But before that, for just the little beginning of my life, he was in pretty good health and able to watch me grow. I'm writing this five years after he died, so I'm 12 now. I realize now how much he cared for me, even though he was sick and I was very young. Thank you God for taking him out of his misery. I just wish I could've enjoyed him longer.

Mike, although this past year I haven't seen you much because of my medical issues, but I have always thought of you and prayed that you were out of pain.
I'm sure glad that I was one of your Caregivers and that you could share your thoughts and pain with me. I always loved your smile and laugh. May you rest in peace now, Mike. We will all miss you, and your pain and suffering is done now.
God Bless your family too, especially Lucy. She was always there for you by your side.
