Robert F. "Bob" Kampa, Korean War Veteran, age 80, beloved husband of Margaret "Marge", nee Majka; loving father of Roberta (William) Keith, Lawrence (Dr. Daisy) Kampa, Kristine (Dr. Kevin) Watt, John and the late Timothy Kampa; dear grandfather of Tim (Valerie) and Matthew Keith, Katie (Keith) Bentley, Sarah, Zachary and Emily Watt and Jonathan and Jacklyn Kampa; great- grandfather of Lily Margaret Bentley; devoted brother of Rita (the late John) Gorman; also brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Saturday, 9:45 a.m. from Modell Funeral Home, 12641 W. 143rd St., Homer Glen to St. Bernard Church. Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Member of Old Timers Sports Club, Homer Seniors, St. Bernard's Mens Club, former Varsity and record holding player for DePaul University from 1948-1951, former professional basketball player with the Minneapolis Lakers and the Kentucky Generals, also an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.
