Roger O. Zerbe, 78, of Rockford passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015, in River Bluff Nursing Home. Roger was born July 28, 1936, in Chicago; son of Marvin and Viola (Russ) Zerbe. He was the owner of Dollar Signs, Inc Outdoor Advertising. Roger enjoyed fishing, camping and walking the dogs. Survivors include, daughters, Kristin (LeRoyal Thomas) Long, Jackie (Edward) Bennett, Jennifer (Eric) Anderson; grandchildren, Tim, Kevin, Nicolle, Trisha, Cassie, Andrea, Brett, Jillian and Lizzy; great-grandchild, Niéra nieces and nephews, Mike, Danny, Patti and Jackie; sister-in-law, Pat Zerbe. Predeceased by wife, Mary Ellen and brother, Wilbur Zerbe. Memorial Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, in the chapel of Cremation Society of Illinois, 6825 Weaver Road, Rockford, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Memorials can be directed to the family.
