To the Johnson Family,
My sincerest condolences to Joan and the girls on Steve's passing. I worked with Steve for many years while he was at VOA, then on his own and finally with PFB. I have many fond memories of working with Steve. In particular, I recall many afternoons working with Steve in the "family room" of his house. I would stop by on the way home from work to meet with Steve and the couple of folks that worked with him there. His big "puppy" dog would greet me and then hang out with us while we worked. Very relaxing - Steve never made work feel like work - we just solved problems together. I know he will be missed by many. His kind demeanor made an impression on all who interacted with him. I hope that Joan and the girls find some peace knowing how well liked and respected Steve was.

To the Johnson Family,
My sincere condolences on Steve's passing. I apologize for being so late in expressing my condolences, but I just learned of Steve's passing today. I was honored to have been one of his many medical caregivers during his time at Kellogg. Steve was always so kind to me during his visits, and I will remember him for the courage and faith he displayed in the face of his illness. May God bless and comfort his loved ones with beautiful memories, now and in the days ahead.
Sincerely,
Helen G, Medical Assistant, Kellogg Cancer Center, NorthShore Evanston Hospital
