Victor Konieczny, age 88, beloved husband of the late Clara, nee Burzynski; loving dad of Dennis (Jo Ann), Kathy ( the late Mel) McGuiggan, Janice (Pat) Wagner, Kenny, Donny (Arlene) and the late Elaine; cherished grandpa of Dennis, Mel, Vickie, Traci, Joe, Jaimie, Kevin, and Abby; proud great-grandpa of Connor and Leily; brother of Malin (the late Lillian), Sylvester (Alice), and the late Roy (the late Jean), the late Leona (the late Ted) Wojtas; uncle to many nieces and nephews; dear friend of Gene Rodgers. He will be missed by many neighbors. Proud WW II Army Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or Masses said in his memory would be appreciated. Visitation Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Prayers 9 a.m. Saturday at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Ave. (at the circle), Elmwood Park.
