Hi mom,

There is not a day that passes that I do not think of you. I can't believe how much time has past, it feels like it was just yesterday we were out horseback riding.
I wish you were here to meet my family. I feel like I was robbed of that honor but I know you are watching over us. I will share all of my wonderful memories of you with my sons and tell them what an AMAZING person you were. I hope that I turn out to be as great as a mother as you were.
I miss you and I love you so much. Until the day we meet again, please keep watching over us.

Your daughter,
Katie

We volunteered at one of your favorite places, Easter Seals this weekend. It just was not the same without you. Harry Cruz is on the board of directors for them now...see how one life can make a difference? You introduced him to Easter Seals and now he carries on your legacy with them.

Dear Caputo Family.

I had the pleasure of knowing Vivian for 16 years. Our children were and still are close friends. Vivian always had a bright smile and positive attitude and that will be missed dearly. It was always an adventure with our two boys and while I was stressed about something that they had gotten into, her favorite line to me was "Well Tina, you know boys will be boys, they will grow out of it" She was right they did.

My prayers are with you and your family.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I worked with Viv for many years she was someone I could count on to help teach my classes for new drivers at UPS. I even got to take my two daughters out to see her horses one Saturday and see a peak into her passion she had for animals. She will be missed by all who knew her. I hope you find comfort in this difficult time.

To the entire Caputo Family, I had the pleasure of working with Vivian, in the Security Dept.,at Ups as a Supervisor and a Manager. You couldn't find a more courageous and dedicated individual person to know. She was always willing to go that extra mile to get the job done. She will be missed but never forgotten.

To the Caputo Family,
We are so saddened to learn of Vivian's passing. She was a wonderful person so dedicated to helping the children with disabilities, families and staff of Easter Seals at our events and our center in Villa Park. We will miss her enthusiasm, her joy, her kindness and compassion for everyone in her life. We are blessed to have known her and worked with her to better the lives of children.

Thank you Vivian! We love you!

Dear Caputo Family,

I had the privilege of getting to know Viv over the last few years during her volunteer work with Junior Achievement. She was always willing to jump in and work in local classrooms, and did it with professionalism and a smile on her face! The time that she spent investing in students speaks to the quality of person she was, and the quality of life she led. She personally impacted more than 150 students in the Addison area, and those schools and Junior Achievement will always be grateful to her.

Your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

To the Caputo Family: I met Vivian when I first started working PT at UPS, 13 years ago in the Hub. Vivian, Melody and Shari would make their rounds with the high values. The girls were always so energetic, happy, fun and great to work with. Vivian was a special person that I will never forget. She will be truly missed, but I know she will be watching over all of us. My deepest sympathy to the entire Caputo Family.

Vivian could always be counted to smile as though it was the end of the week even though it would be a Monday and I would be coming in following her shift. I work the midnight and I would see Vivian in passing, the hello waves trying to encourage that it's going to be a great night were quite comforting. Vivian will be missed be me and I am sure all that she came in contact with, she was that special a lady. God Bless Your Family!

May 3, 2010

To the Caputo Family; I had the honor to work with Vivian at UPS. I also had the opportunity to
spend time with her on many community service and volunteer events. Vivian was amazingly gracious with her time. If a second grade class needed a volunteer to teach a Junior Achievement class at the last minute, Vivian came to the rescue. Many times Vivian would do this with little or no notice. She made an impact on everyone she met. She was a special person and will be missed. My deepest sympathy to you and your entire family.

Vivian was the most amazing person one can meet. She always carried a positive attitude and was always there when someone needed help!! She was my second supervisor at UPS and if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be where I am today. She was such an influence on me and my career at UPS. She will never be forgotten and certainly missed.

Vivian was a great friend, co-worker and such a compassionate person! Wherever I would go and do volunteer work, I would call up Viv and her and Judy Gorski, we would all go and knock it out of the park. I wasnt sure if her compassion was for the charities or me, but either way, they were great times that I will always remember and treasure. I also have to tell you that I do not believe in gambling at all, and only Vivian could get me to the Arlington Race track and teach me how to bet. Was only $2.00 bets, but she taught me the basics. I did not want to go on that outing but a UPS mgr purchased them for us and we kind of felt obligated to go. It was a great time and oh, the memories fromt hat day will keep me smiling forever. She will be missed by all of us but know this. She lived a really good life and I am sure she got the express elevator to heaven! God Bless all of you!
