Obituary Condolences

William E. Hurley, age 84, born Into Eternal Life Sept. 16, 2012; beloved husband of Kathleen Black (nee Ruether) and the late Dorothy Ann (nee Mant); loving father of Cathy Ann (Arsen) Bartl, Mary Elizabeth (Keith) Gibbons, Gina Williamson, Loran Hurley (Michael Blewett), James G. (Sheila) and the late Capt. William J. Hurley, U.S.M.C.; dear "Papa" of Alicia (John) Schwenk, Daniel (Julia) Gibbons, Amanda, Schuyler, Eion, Maeve, Declan, Elizabeth and Maria; proud great-grandpa of Andrew and Colin Schwenk; devoted brother of Daniel R. (Colette), Thomas J. (Willie) and the late Robert M. (Joyce) Hurley. Bill was also loved and is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, the Black family and his dear friend, Ron Heaney. Bill faithfully served as a Deacon at Christ the King Parish from 1983-2006 and Chaplain at LCM Hospital. He was a former Program Director for Catholic Charities and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Visitation Thursday 3 to 9 p.m. at the Brady-Gill Funeral Home (Heeney-Laughlin Directors) 2929 W. 87th St. Evergreen Park. Family and friends will gather at Christ the King Church 9235 S. Hamilton Ave. Chicago, IL 60643 on Friday morning for visitation 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials to Capt. William J.
