Zelda Robinson, nee Cohen. Age 83. Devoted wife of the late Eli. Father of Harriett (Keith Bruns) and Ellen (Aaron) Krumbein. Grandmother of Rachel Krumbein (Todd) Siegal, Abby Krumbein, Ari Krumbein, and Ethan Bruns. Sister-in-law of Jules Teck, Martha Lathrop and Bobbie Schiffman. Beloved aunt and cousin of many. A woman of valor. Vibrant, lifelong learner, active contributor to her community, world traveler. Graduate of The University of Michigan. Life member and adult Bat Mitzvah of Congregation Shaarey Zedek. Seventeen-year member Southfield (MI) School Board. Inductee to Michigan School Board Hall of Fame for leadership efforts resulting in Holocaust education becoming mandatory for all high school students in the state. Vice- President, League of Women Voters. Life member of Hadassah. Transcribed books into Braille and taught English to immigrants. Lifetime supporter of The University of Michigan Alumni Association's Camp Michigania. The family gives special thanks to Dexter Magale for his heartfelt assistance. Services Sunday, 11:00 am at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie.
