ELIZABETH BIAGI Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 20, 2012.
Elizabeth Ann Biagi, age 17, suddenly, at rest March 16, 2012. Welcomed into eternal peace by her grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth Biagi. Beth is survived by her parents, Michael and Anne, nee Zirkelbach; loving sister Taylor; her maternal grandparents, Anton and Lana Zirkelbach; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Beth's life was short, but she was long on her laughter, which would continue late into the night, it's hardy sound could be heard throughout the entire house. We will also remember her beautiful smile, her sense of humor and her "German" determination. She filled our lives with countless memories. We will miss her gages, her eyebrow piercing and her constantly changing the color of her hair. We will miss her passion for photography and all things Edward Norton and Courtney Love. We will miss finding her test strips all around the house, we will miss her love for all things sweet. We will remember her smiling, camera in hand, she will forever be locked in our hearts. Like her favorite movie, The Lion King, we will remember her when we look at the stars. Private family service. To honor Beth, memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 55 E. Monroe St., Suite 3420, Chicago, IL 60603 (www.diabetes.org) would be appreciated. Arrangements by Adolf Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd ., Willowbrook. 630-325-2300 www.adolfservices.com)

Beth,

A year has passed since we last held you in our arms. Although we can't wrap our arms around you, we try to focus on filling our hearts with wonderful memories . . . wonderful memories that were created by knowing and loving you as a niece, daughter, sister, friend, cousin, and granddaughter. You were a blessing from God that touched our lives for the better. We will continue to support each other over the days, months, and years, so we stay strong. I hope heaven has given you the peace you deserved. Love you, Aunt Julie

Beth,
I never wrote in here because it's so hard to express my thoughts. I still think of your laughter and smile everyday. I also think of your family, they are all such wonderful people and every single one of them reminds me of your sweet and funny personality. It's still very hard to accept this, but I know you're in peace and you are happy. I will still hold on to the memories we had forever. I have always looked up to you because of how you would stand up for anyone no matter what, and you always stuck to your beliefs. I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am, to have had you as one of my best friends. Thank you for always being there for me, I will never forget.
~Hakuna Matata
P.S. I know you're watching us, with our pink hair strips, and smiling. No one will ever pull it off like you did.

I miss you, alot. Beth, you were so beautiful, funny, creative, random, inspiring, and i just loved being around you. You helped me so much when i transferred into DGS and even though i only knew you for such a small length of time, you meant so much to me. I miss you so much and i've never really lost anyone so this is still kind of hard to believe you're still gone. I wish RIP meant Return If Possible, but god bless your family. i love you & miss you :* RIP Beth ?

Dear Mike, Ann, and Taylor, I am a member of Concordia Church in Berwyn. I have seen you in church and we shared "Hellos" but I don't know if you remember me. (My daughter's play in the praise team) Anyway, at our Bible study this week, Kay had a pin with your daughter's picture on it. When I asked about it, she told me. I am so very sorry for your loss. There are no words that can take the pain away, but please know that I will be praying for your family. May God bring you comfort and peace in His time. Love, Donna Landa

Beth, I never got the courage to ever say how much I envied you. You were perfect in every little way. I know I never talked to you, but I always thought it was so awesome at how much sense you had. You are one of those people that you are proud to know- one of those people who make you think "Wow, do I look stupid."
Rest in Peace. <3

My Dearest Beth,
I never knew I could be so heartbroken. Since the moment I heard you had left us, I have struggled to find sense and comfort in knowing you are in a better place. But I guess I am selfish because I planned on seeing you grow into adulthood. I thought you were destine to become a famous photographer or a leader of the newest feminist movement. Just know you will forever be in our hearts and we will look after each other as we come to terms with this incredible loss. I love you.

Beth, I will never forget you. We weren't extremely close but you left something in my heart that will never fade, and I will always remember. We would always joke around and laugh at each other's posts on our blogs. We would share our love for Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain. I would always open up a message to you, and I'd start typing up a long paragraph telling you how amazing I thought you were but I never sent it. And now I deeply regret that. One day I'll get to see your beautiful face again and I promise you that I'll tell you everything I've been meaning to tell you. You were loved by many, and we'll never forget you. I love you Beth. May you rest in peace.

Hey girlie~I know we didn't talk much this year but, just seeing you and your wild hair in the hall could cheer me up. I will miss you and your utter obsession with Edward Norton. Seriously Beth, I mean, Mrs. Edward Norton, your obsession was stalkerish and loveable. You are a great friend and those times in journalism were incredible. I hope you find peace.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Beth you were one of my best friends in elementary school. I remember the first day you came to El Sierra in your ever famous green day shirt, with the most amazing blonde hair i had ever seen and your beautiful smile. I miss all our crazy adventures at school, and our everyday trips to mccollum, when you pricked my finger to test my blood sugar on the bus home from camp edwards and I screamed so loud and wouldn't stop bleeding. and venting our 6th grade problems with sharpies onto your wall. You always kept things entertaining and could make anyone laugh instantly. you were always there when i needed you and taught me to stand up for what i believe in you were such an inspiring person do be around. Although we grew about as high school came around seeing your smile in the halls was always a pleasant addition to my day. I feel so blessed to have had you in my life. I miss you so much. My prayers go out to Mr. & Mrs. Biagi and Taylor. I love you Beth, Rest in peace <3

Beth was one of the few genuine and kind people I knew, she somehow saw the good in people no matter what they had going on in their life she would manage a smile out of them. You could see that she always put others before herself. Its very sad to see such a sweet young girl, with plenty of ambitions go. We will all miss you Beth, rest in peace.

It's so sad to see such a beautiful girl go at such a young age. I will never, ever forget all the memories we have shared. You were my best friend at one point and I could not have asked for anyone better. You were such a beautiful role model and leader; you always stood up for what you believed in and you made yourself stand out in a positive way- which is really hard for highschoolers to do. You were so smart and always had a way of brightening someone's day up- even if it was just by receiving a bright smile from you. I wish we could've had at least one more vent session before it was your time to go. I am still so speechless and shocked. None of this makes sense. We will meet again, but until now I hope you rest in a better place. I love you, Beth- you will be missed.

Beth,I'm going to miss seeing your artwork everywhere at school and I'm going to miss seeing you at group and just listening to your opinions and having some great laughs with all the girls, I enjoyed getting to see things from your point of view. I'm going to miss you sooo much I can't even describe it.

Beth, I'll never forget how in elementry school you used to wear jeans under your skirts and you had such blonde hair and how we would go to the park almost everyday and do absolutely nothing but it was always so much fun. I remember going to your house and playing sims, writing on your mirror and wall and punching your punching bag in your room. I remember picking a scab on my leg so I could chec...k my blood sugar with your monitor, it was 111 and you told me that that was like perfect and yours was never like that. I remember you getting stuck in a baby swing at the park and we threw your flip flops in a tree and we had to go to the fire department so they could get them out and on our way over there Odell said "I told you I would have body guards some day". I remember your laugh and how I was always so jealous of it because I don't make any noise when I laugh. And I remember always playing with your hair because it was always so soft. These are some of the best memories I have and I'm so greatful I got to share them with you. I love you so much Beth and you will always be on my mind and in my heart.

Dear Beth,
to be honest I have a lot that I want to say but nothing seems to be coming out. I'm making this a letter to you versus just a guest book sign in because there's so much I didn't tell you that a plain signature lacks. Since I met you I've wanted to be you. In the way that you have so many great qualities that I will probably always lack (not in the creepy way, you know?). The way you make everyone smile, the way you walk to your own drum AND YOUR CREATIVITY. How I envy your creativity and humor and wit.
I could be the cliche and say I wish we had more time together and I wish you were still here but I know we'll meet again one day and I know God has you in the palm of his hand and isn't squeezing you too tight.
You'll always be a role model for me and I wish you happiness.
For your family, I hope they remember how many of us you touched and what a beautiful girl they raised.
I hope you are safely at home.

Beautiful Beth, you will be missed. I will miss seeing you walking home from school and offering you a ride home and having your sweet smile in my car, always friendly and gracious and reminding me your house is the one with the basketball net because I could never figure it out. I have beautiful memories of you from grammar school and you and Sadie hanging out. You have touched so many lives that you will never know. We will miss you
