Virginia Michalski Obituary
Virginia Michalski, 99, former owner of Bridgeport Bakery from 1941 until 1975, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014. Virginia was a loving mother to Merrilee (William) Wise, and Edward (Pauline) Michalski; cherished grandmother to Scott Ariel, Kyle Ariel, John Mason, Virginia "Ginny" (Matt) Voelker, and Lynn (Mike) Thomer; a great-grandmother to recently born, Lily Voelker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. Virginia was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents and husband, Frank, Virginia was preceded in death by her siblings, Florence Wasielewski, Martin Dybalski, Edward Debalski, Frank Blazo, and John Blazo. Visitation and viewing will be held Sunday, Feb 9 from 12pm until 6pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Mass will be held Monday, February 10, with visitation from 10 am until the time of Mass at 11 am at St. Barbara's Church, 2859 S Throop St., Chicago, IL 60608.
