Cherished grandfather of 7. Dearest brother of the late Meredith (the late Red) Gearhart. Companion of Elaine Lovato. Loving brother-in-law of Marlene (Marvin) Charleston. Employed by Illinois Bell from 1948-1984. Member of U.S. Naval Reserve 1948-1958 and USAFILANG 217th EIS Squadron from 1964-1988 retiring as Chief Master Sergeant. Resting at the Tews Funeral Home, 18230 Dixie Hwy. Homewood, Wednesday, February 12th from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. Services Thursday, February 13th at 10:00am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
