iconWayne Juhlin 77, died suddenly of a heart attack on April 17, 2014. Wayne was the adored husband and partner in life, love and laughter of Sandi (nee Marcus) professionally known as Penny Lane. He was the loving son of the late Carl and Ann (nee Speechley) Juhlin. Sandi and Wayne's marriage produced daughter Jennifer Andrea Juhlin who he cherished. From his first marriage he leaves behind his dear children, Jill (George) Murphy, Tina, Amy Juhlin Yalowitz and Michael Juhlin. He had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren Jason (Amanda), Fawna, Christopher Wayne and Clayton Demma, Theresa and Rebecca Murphy, Rhiannon and Ryleigh Yalowitz and his precious great-grandchildren Justice and Jade Taylor and Lara and Lincoln Demma. He was the loyal brother of Donnie & Dale Juhlin who preceded him in death. Wayne was the proud uncle of Gregg, Dag (Meredith) Juhlin; Donna (John) Smith, the late Daniel (Tami Moron) Marcus, Donald (Rhonda) Marcus, David (Julie) Marcus, Darryl Marcus, Gerry (Cori) Marcus and the late Steven Marcus. He also leaves behind his admired and fun sister-in-law Maxine Marcus, as well as Anna Marie Juhlin and Ruthie Marcus. He was a devoted friend to many. Wayne was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. His hopes for a Cubs championship never faded. Chicago was his city! He was happy watching the Bulls, Bears and Hawks, and interested in all topics--especially his beloved Paris. In lieu of flowers, donations to the may be made. A memorial service is pending.
