Anna Flaherty, loving wife of the late Paul E. Flaherty; daughter of the late John and Catherine (nee McHugh) Elward; sister of the late Kathleen (the late Helmut) Repich; devoted mother of Paul (Kathryn) Flaherty, Dr. John (Patricia) Flaherty, William (Terri) Flaherty, Kathleen Flaherty, Peggy Flaherty, Daniel (Diane) Flaherty, Amy (Bob) Kraus and Patty (Max) Caproni; proud grandmother of Maggie, Caitlyn, James, Michael, Elisabeth (Christian) Pilhofer, Conor, Maura, Clare, Ryan, Anna, Sarah, Rebecca, Jack, Emmett, Kevin, Paul, John, Patrick, Joseph and Daniel; fond sister-in- law of Rev. William Flaherty, Jeanne (the late Phillip) Pegg, Michael (Nancy) Flaherty and the late Lucyanne (the late Thomas) Megan; beloved aunt; compassionate and caring friend of many. Retired from Bank of America, was an active parishioner at St. Hilary Church for over 55 years and died in her home surrounded by her children after a brief illness. Prayers Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. to St. Hilary Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
