Frank Zika Obituary
Frank J. Zika, age 71, died peacefully at home on July 25, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; sisters Arlene (Jerry) Formanski, Diane (Bob) Mitchell and Barbara (Sam) Hascek; and many loving family members. A Vietnam veteran (1965-66), Frank was a life-long member of the NRA, ASSRA, and the Aurora and Wheaton Sportsman Clubs; earned a Masters Degree from Northern Illinois University; had 5 patents in industrial tooling, and worked as a mechanical engineer and on the Apache Helicopter. Frank was instrumental in annexing his community into the city of Countryside. Visitation Sunday, 3 to 8pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral service 10am, Monday at the funeral home. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
