James W. Gillman, May 8, 1933, age 81, late of Olympia Fields; formerly of Rock Island, Illinois. 1956 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland; U.S. Navy Veteran. Beloved husband of the late JoAnn B. Gillman. Dear father of J. Scott (Lee) Gillman, and Todd (Laurie) Gillman. Cherished grandfather of Emma, Elise, Carly, and James Gillman. Dear brother of the late Bernard Gillman (late Enid and late Carol Gillman.) Loving brother-in-law of Rosemary (John) Theobald, and Thomas Brezovec. Fond uncle of Joe (Sue) Gillman, Nancy (Robbie) Boyle, Maureen (Al) El-Abd and Cathy (Mark) Biscontine. 1963 Graduate of the University of Illinois Law School, after passing the Patent Bar, worked in private practice and then finished his successful career with 25 years as worldwide patent counsel for Motorola.
