(Kurt) Haberl, James P. (Dorothy), and Mark G. (Laura); grateful stepfather of Michele E. Packard, Stacy C. (Paul) Janes, Tiera E. (Douglas) Harness, Denise E. (Julian) Berkin, Guy C. (Krista) Packard, and Courtney A. (T. Robert) Brownlee; loving grandfather of Katherine, M.D. (Charles) Kavanagh, Julie Reichmann, James (Betsy) Haberl, Ellie Haberl, Geomole Moya, Nathanial Wallwork, Kelly (William) Negley, Lindsay E. Janes, Blake (Elin) Royer, Hayley Harness, Tucker Harness, Jillian Berkin, Amy Berkin, Daniel Berkin, Christopher C. Packard, Anne Packard, Robert C. Brownlee, Bridget Brownlee, Garrett C. Brownlee; very proud great grandfather of six: Caroline, Charles, Sean and Matthew Kavanagh, Oliver J. Haberl, and Paul E. Royer; and brother to the late Mary Judith. Second generation graduate of Loyola Academy. Business and Marketing graduate of Loyola University, with Chicago. Honorable discharge U.S. Marine Corp. Reserve. Business and sales career forty years in the consumer electronic industry the last 25 of which in execution of senior management capacity of the Zenith Sales Company. Following retirement, he joined the International Executive Service Corp where he served in Siberia, Lithuania, and Kyrgyzstan. He was a long time member of the New York Athletic Club and member of the Big Foot Country Club where he recorded three of the four hole in ones that he made over the years. Visitation Thursday August 21, 2014, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Friday August 22, 2014 9:15 a.m. from Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd. at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie, IL 60077. Mass 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 1775 Grove Street, Glenview, IL 60025. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
