Dr. Lee Alan Pavlicek, 48, of Naperville, IL, lost his courageous battle against brain cancer on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008. He passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family. Lee was born Sept. 20, 1960 to Bob and Mary, nee Rhinehart, Pavlicek in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Lee was employed as an anesthesiologist at Edward Hospital in Naperville. He was a loyal friend, loving father, devoted husband, and brilliant doctor with a generous heart that will be greatly missed by every life he touched. Lee is survived by his loving wife Donna, nee Ebert, Pavlicek, whom he married Sept. 18, 1993, and leaves behind four children, Kyle and L.J. Pavlicek, Jason
Morgese, and Nicole Morgese. Lee is also survived by his parents, Bob and Mary, nee Rhinehart, Pavlicek of Ely; three siblings, John (Meeyoun) Pavlicek, Wayne (Cara) Pavlicek and Robert (Jane) Pavlicek; his mother-in-law, Sonja (Vaughn) Schroeder; brother-in-laws, Greg, Josh and Joel Ebert and six nephews and a niece. Lee was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Gerald (Judy) Ebert and his maternal and paternal grandparents. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations go to the Lee A. Pavlicek Fund, part of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, created to help ease the financial burden on families of cancer patients. It is the foundation's wish that these families have the same extra care, assistance, love and support that was provided to our family.
